Waterfront 3 bedroom, 3 bath, cottage with spectacular views of the Damariscotta River.  In the 60's, this was the only cottage on the point. Two very happy people built it. They were newly married, a widow and a widower, and this was their first project together so they aptly named it Maine-ly Ours.  While they have long since passed, they left a house full of wonderful energy and great memories. Happily for us their grand daughters now share  their meticulously maintained very special private getaway with a few lucky families each summer. It's just a short walk to the East Boothbay center where you will find the newly refurbished Lobsterman's Wharf and the wonderful East Boothbay General Store.  Fully equipped kitchen with dishes, utensils, pots and pans, dishwasher,  microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, and wood burning stove. Tons of great "beach books" and some more serious fare. Enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon refreshments on the deck with expansive views of the river, read or just gaze across to Pemaquid Point and Christmas Cove. If you enjoy hiking your within minutes of Boothbay Region Land Trust Trails. A short drive will take you to the Harbor for all the shopping and dining a vibrant seaside village has to offer. No smoking; no pets. Longer term rentals preferred.
