Reservation Policy

Once you have decided you would like to secure a property, we put a "hold" on the time period and send you a Lodging Application. The total amount due is the monthly/weekly rent plus 7% Maine Lodging Tax. The amount due at the time you return your Lodging Application is 50% of the total. When we receive the Lodging Application back, with the deposit, we then remove the "hold" and the time period is secured. One month before your arrival date the remaining 50% is due. (Long term rentals are required to be paid in full by April 1.) At the time you make your final payment, we ask that you send a separate check for $250 (amount may vary per property) as a security deposit. This will be held until the day of your departure when a representative will personally inspect the property. If everything is in order, we will return the check to you. If a representative is unable to make a personal visit before your departure, we will inspect the property as soon as possible and return your check promptly if everything is in order.

As a reminder, you are purchasing the time period at the property. Therefore, if you should cancel your reservation, and we are able to rebook the time period, you will receive your deposit back minus a 25% (of the total rent due) administration fee. If you cancel and we are unable to rebook the time period, you will lose the entire deposit.
